Sign on will be held on Sunday January 29th 2012. Venue is the Toowoomba Bowls Club, Lindsay st, from 4-7pm. All old and new players welcome! Eftpos will be available.
Informal training will commence Tuesday 17th January 6.30pm at Heritage. General fitness will be the focus. Spread the word!!

A great night was had by all at the Annual Bears Presentation Dinner. This year we were lucky enough to also celebate our 30th year as a club. Many past players were able to attend and comment on their time at the "Bears" or under one of the various names we have had! We greatly appreciated their attendance and enjoyed hearing their many stories. Hopefully we will see them around through the following seasons.
Thank you to all who attended the evening and those who helped make it a successful night. Congratulations to all players for a great 2011 and we hope to see every and more back to play for the Bears in 2012!!

This weekend sees B Grade play for the Grand final in B grade at USQ. Game times are as follows for the weekend:
10am C Grade Highfields v Goondiwindi
11.20am U19 USQ V Rangers
1pm B Grade Bears v Goondiwindi
3pm A Grade USQ v Rangers

The weekend at USQ saw A grade bow out in great fashion losing in double extra time to the red and black (25-30) a corageous game it was and all the boys and coaching staff should be congratulated! B grade showed that they are the team to beat in the finals going through to the Grand Final on the 3th September, conquering rangers 25-5. Best of luck to B grade!
Tickets are still available for the 30th Anniversary and Presentation dinner on the 9th september at the Spotted Cow. RSVP by the 5th Septmeber to admin@toowoombabears.com.au $60 per ticket.
